Our mission is to become the driving force that will enable and empower young people to take up leadership and management roles in decision-making structures in our local communities.

Our vision: To empower young people to improve the quality of lives for themselves and their peer’s.

To achieve this we want our voices to be heard and counted in structures such as Local Area Partnerships, Housing Estate Boards, Regeneration Boards and others.

Our aims and objectives are to:

• Inspire young people and community members (including residents, the Police, and service providers) to work together in a positive and creative way
• Build the capacity of young people in Tower Hamlets to create a better functioning, better resourced and better connected resident community, in which young people are included in the daily running of particular areas.
• Increase understanding among young people of the mechanisms necessary to inform, influence and engage the support of services providers, local agencies, policy makers and others in the wider community
• Increase understanding and collaboration between different local cultural groups.

• Reach a mutual understanding and collaboration among the different cultural groups within Tower Hamlets for an empowered, safe and cohesive community.

We achieve these by offering young people in Tower Hamlets the opportunity to participate in and organise:

• Skills training (in project management, budget preparation, leadership skills, fundraising, partnership work, motivational and confidence building)
• Arts, media, drama and music workshops and events where young people can share their skills and talent through creative means
• Community Projects encouraging young people to take the lead on projects aimed at making your community a better place to live
• Governance sessions focused on empowering young people to get involved in decision-making processes enabling them to get involved in policies that affect their community.
