Having been promised the production contract for Michael Jackson’s comeback album, 2010 was supposed to be my big year as a mover and shaker in the music world. However, as a result of certain unfortunate events, the MJ contract didnt quite come through, and instead, in July 2010, I found herself teaching music production with LiC as part of the “Canary Wharf Neighbours” film-making project.

Not only did the Canary Wharf project give me my first experience of PFC as well as a starring role as “random girl in background” in one of the film scenes, but it also gave me an insight into the awesome work that LiC does with young people, in terms of raising aspirations, providing them with skills, and increasing their self confidence.

I am currently working at metals and mining company Rio Tinto, but have spent most of my career in the financial sector at a number of institutions including Goldman Sachs, Climate Change Capital and Klesch & Co. I have a BA from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and when not drinking tea or teaching algebra in the LiC office, you might find me locked away in a candlelit room somewhere, plotting my path to world domination.
