My most important role for LiC is to distract and start on others in a positive way. By ignoring me, my colleagues try harder to concentrate on their own work. I also manage our Centre for Creative Expressions, which includes projects such as our guitar and dance workshops.

I was one of a group of young people who helped conceive LiC. Back then I was 18 and unscarred!! I witnessed the birth of this beautifully insane organisation, lived off of its benefits and now I’m waiting for it to grow up a bit more before I move on but I don’t think I’ll ever truly be able to let go.

I got involved to help the orphans and homeless puppy’s live a better life in the UK… and also because I truly believed that this organisation would be a shining example of what positive changes young people can bring about in their communities when given an opportunity to do so. Our track record speaks for itself and I can only see the charity going from strength to strength. It certainly lived up to my expectations.
