LiC Climb Mount Snowdon Saturday 4th June 2011

18 young leaders ventured out to North Wales to trek up mount Snowdon on Saturday 4th of June as part of a sponsored trek to raise money for LiC Youth Exchange project. The 18 young people set off on Friday the 3rd of June from the Burdett Estate in Poplar to fulfil their challenge to climb over 1080 metres to the top, completing their journey in over 3.5 hours and returned home on Saturday the 4th June at 8pm looking very exhausted but extremely proud.
The sponsored trek is part of a long line of events organised by the young leaders over the summer to raise profile and money for our up and coming Nepal project.
