Fifteen young volunteers from Leaders in Community – as part of their video journalism project ventured to Trinity Buoy Wharf to cover Water City Festivals second live orchestral performance on 3rd April 2011.
The unique orchestra is made up of people living, studying or working in London and provides much needed interaction for professionals and amateurs.
Event organiser Lord Andrew Mawson hopes to have a permanent stand in the Olympic Park next year which caught the attention of BBC London.
The journalism project takes place every Saturday’s and Monday’s in Burdett Estate and aims to expose young people in Tower Hamlets to national and international issues and gets them to cover local stories.
